Darryl has been a fixture with Southern California volleyball for over two decades. Noted as a prominent coach and key figure of the Orange County Volleyball Club,Darryl brings his expertise and love of the game to SCVC having coached the middle school girls and boys in the early 90's. With great volleyball tradition in his family, a unique ability to connect and inspire his players, Darryl's over 20 years of experience along with his tremendous knowledge of the game have contributed to his successes over the years.

Darryl graduated from Newport Harbor High where he played volleyball, and he graduated from USC with a Political Science degree. He was regarded as a stand out setter on the USC club team. He brings with him a history of dedication and resolve to achieve at the highest degree. Darryl lives in Redondo Beach with his wife Cristina and son Liam.

2002 Pepperdine, Assistant Women's Coach; 1998-2001 Pepperdine; Overall record of 92-26 (.780), including a 51-5 (.911) mark in WCC; 2 conference titles, advanced to the NCAA Tournament all four years and reached the "Sweet 16" three times. Top 20 for 4 seasons, including a then best-ever No. 8 ranking by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) following a 23-4 season. Setter;

Pepperdine's all-time career hitting percentage leader with a .359 mark and ranks third on the school's career assist list with 3,599; 2000, led Pepperdine and the WCC with a school-record .411 hitting percentage; 1994-1998 Varsity at Fountain Valley H.S.; 2 X All-Sunset League; "Most Valuable Player"

1997; All-CIF 1996 and 1997 and was named a high school All-American as a junior.  

Melissa now owns the SCVC LOS CAB Club Program in Fountain Valley, while still the assistant administrator for SCVC.  She is is married to Matt Boice and they have 2 children.

Transferred to rowing and spent 4 years on the Cal, UC Berkeley Crew team.

Erika graduatedin 2012 from Cal, Berkeley with a degree in Political Science.

Currently employed at American Martyrs School.
