Dear SCVC Families,

We are thrilled to share exciting news with each of you regarding SCVC!
An opportunity to build a legacy in the sport of volleyball that we could only dream of until now!

As we enter our 32nd season we are proud of the growth and development of our club since 1991. Through thick and thin, SCVC has stood the test of time. The support we consistently receive and the hard work and determination by our staff, athletes, and families has been humbling and inspiring to Mary and Melissa. So many wonderful people are a part of this amazing journey and we cherish the many athletes, families and coaches that have contributed to the various milestones along the way.

Now is the time to dream bigger.

We are honored to announce that SCVC has partnered with LOVB (League One Volleyball)! LOVB shares a common vision and set of goals with SCVC, seeking to propel the sport of volleyball to levels yet unreached in the US and worldwide. Like SCVC, LOVB has its sights set on some clear and lofty objectives.

At the top of that list is building the first successful Professional Volleyball League in the US. LOVB sees SCVC and the South Bay area playing an essential role in that process. Some of the brightest minds and cutting edge thinkers in the business and sports industries have joined this cause.

The SCVC with LOVB partnership will bring a wide range of access to resources and benefits never before seen by the volleyball community. From facilities to national exposure, professional connections, and the latest innovations critical to achieving the unachievable; all of this and more will be available to the SCVC family. It is entirely conceivable that, in the coming years, it will be common to see Olympic and professional players coming in and out of our gyms, serving as in-person role models helping create the next generation of champions.

We are humbled by this opportunity. We are inspired by a commonly held vision. We are blessed to be standing in a bright and shining place on the edge of creating history and greatness. We feel certain this is the best possible path. Join us in following this dream worth dreaming, one with heart, purpose, and integrity.

With a new season before us, it is exciting beyond words to be partners with LOVB on this thrilling, powerful quest. We are incredibly proud of the legacy we have built at SCVC and could not be more excited to take this next step with League One Volleyball to bring professional volleyball to Los Angeles and to continue building volleyball for the future!
